A Typical Day with Dufrain

  • 7:00 AM: Wake up routine

Wake up and have breakfast, usually complex carbs for lasting energy a protein shake as well as a few hard boiled eggs. Morning hygiene including showering, brushing teeth, polishing scales if necessary. Get dressed.

  • 8:30 AM: Morning jog

Weather permitting, drive to the local park, stretch, and jog for three miles. Say hello to that old man that’s always reading the paper on the bench by the water fountain. Cool down with more stretches and feed the ducks at the pond. Weather nonpermitting use in-home treadmill, I hate treadmills. Listen to swing or big band on the Opod in both situations.

  • 9:45 AM: Arrive at the team’s training facilities

Meet with personal trainer on the day’s workout goals, get any physical ailments checked. Record daily weight and hit the weight room first. Begin with strength training, need to keep adding weights. Bicep curls, squats, bench press, leg press, deadlift, snatch, shoulder press, chest fly, maybe some others. Eight reps each and frequent breaks to prevent injury. Alternate days for both endurance and strength. Probably play thermostat war with team mates over optimal mammalian workout temperature over reptilian.

  • 11:30 AM: Cool down and short jog

Take some time to cool off and allow lactic acid build up to regulate before another light jog before lunch time. Important to not overstress a crocodilian body due to lack of sweat glands and toxic buildup of lactic acid, extreme cases could lead to serious muscle injury or even death. Watch that.

  • 12:00 PM: Lunch

Head back to the house for lunch, or out to eat with team mates depending on the daily plans. High in protein!

  • 2:00 PM: Short nap

Conk out for a bit after a good meal in order to get into the swing of being up later for on season games.

  • 4:00 PM: Return to the training facilities

Head back to the gym and the court, run shooting drills, versus drills, defense drills, or study opponent films and plays. Speak with the personal trainer or coaches if necessary.

  • 7:00 PM: Free time and dinner

Head home, relax, head out on the town with friends, enjoy the new hot tub, get a massage maybe. Do some comfort cooking or relax on the couch. All ends with heading to bed eventually around midnightish.
