FUMB
The Furry Universe's Magazine for Basketball, (stylized currently as fumb and from its founding up until 2016 as F.U.M.B.) is a publication geared towards FBA news and related articles of interest pertaining to basketball. It is the only FBA officially-licensed magazine, having gained the title in 2002, five years after its founding.
Origin
F.U.M.B. was originally brought to market in 1997 by Pawside Media LLC, noting the lack of basketball-centered publications in the marketplace. The magazine was keen to take advantage of the early days of the internet, with each print issue containing a unique code that when linked to a purchaser or subscriber's account, would give them access to additional pictures and background on the cover stories and selected other articles
FBA Licensing
Following the folding of the league's official publication FBA Insider in 1993, the league was left without an official publication. Following a meeting between then-commissioner (Insert Name Here) and Pawside Media President Jo Brinks, the magazine was designated as an 'Officially Licensed Magazine of the FBA'. Reporters from the magazine were given additional access to FBA players and team staff for interviews.
