Biography

Sophia Kikian as a kitten was a rather shy and reclusive girl until she had discovered friends and abilities in sports. She even remembers the first time she had placed her paws on a basketball, being talked into a pickup game by Kaitlyn, one of her closest friends during her early school days. Due to that game, she discovered a certain ability to move the orange sphere about, even crude as it was at the time, and a sense of enjoyment. As time went on, she found herself participating in further sports like Volleyball and track, but nothing gave her the same enjoyment as a great game of basketball. Eventually this even helped her grow in some popularity among her peers, even though she was still a rather shy kitten.

While at Pine Hills High, she studied hard while working hard on the Varsity team, showing off her abilities while honing her ball handling and passing skills, quickly working the ball up the court and moving the ball quickly between her fellow players. As her popularity increased on the team, she eventually became a little more comfortable with the attention and eventually came out of her shell.

Eventually Sophia entered university at Ursa State University with a partial academic and athletic scholarship. There she split her time between her chosen degree of Telecommunication Media and playing for USU. During her freshman and sophomore years she played on the bench, honing her skills even further, and eventually playing starter during her junior and senior years. During that time she proved herself as a valuable component to the team with good vision and situational awareness combined with excellent ball handling and passing skills. She also proved herself to also be a reliable jump shot to help round off her skills and provided her the tools she needed for any situation her team and herself faced. As she neared the end of her college career she was gaining favorable looks and was gaining the interest of the scouts. Akkarri approached her with an offer of trying to help promote her abilities to the FBA Draft. Sophia was at first reluctant to give an answer, not sure if she could handle the additional pressures and extra watchful eyes of the media from the FBA as she had only grown used to her own level of popularity at school. But with some conversation, prodding, and support of her longtime friend Kaitlyn she eventually came to a final decision to accept the offer and enter the FBA Draft. With that decision, she worked with Akkarri directly to put together her own media packets and look into proper promotion of her skills and abilities.
