Biography

Terry was born in the city of Portland, his parents was originated from Bali in the island nation of Indonesia. When Terry was 10 years old, their parents had to move out to their hometown and back to Bali to support and take care of their grandfather. They also wanted to make Terry experience the tropical atmosphere and make him get used to it. It was revealed that Terry’s grandfather was a former basketball player on his local team during his younger times. Now his grandfather is the coach of a basketball team in Terry’s primary school.

Terry’s parents encourage him to be like his grandfather as they think he needs a hobby as he appears to have the potential to become one due to his grandfather’s blood. Terry was skeptical at first, but he had no choice but to follow the order to make his family happy. As time passed after Terry joined his grandfather’s basketball club, he started to get used to it. Though Terry still wished to go back home to America, as he doesn’t like that had to stay in his family home and deal with his grandfather’s temper whenever he made a mistake during the training.

When Terry graduated from his primary school and went to his new high school, Terry grew taller and athletic, he still wanted to go back to America as he thinks living here still haven’t change him that much. However, a new student by the name Robert is on a class with him. He remembered that Robert was a top champion basketball player and once defeated his team during their primary school time. He remembered he was a big fan of him. The two then met each other and Terry was nervous at first, but then Robert remembered him and was laughing but understand about the conversation. Terry then ended up making friends with him and the two ended up bonding and both joined their high school basketball team. They worked with each other well and Terry’s grandfather was surprised to see how the 2 are close to each other.

However, one night the two ended up in a match between a bunch of basketball delinquents team that was from another school on Saturday evening. Terry’s team won but the delinquents were unhappy and all of them started fighting on each other and Terry and his gang ran away from the delinquent. Tragedy struck when his friend Robert ended up in a car accident while they were being chased by them. Terry was frozen after seeing his friend laying down dying on the road, unable to do anything but stare. They managed to send Robert to the hospital, unfortunately Robert passed away due to high loss of blood. Terry was devasted and was blaming himself for causing his death. His parents try to say to him it was an accident. Terry was unable to play basketball after the incident. Even worse, his grandfather suffered a heart attack and passed away after 5 days his friend passed away, they had no choice but to return to America.

After leaving Indonesia and arrived in his hometown America, Terry still didn’t play basketball despite try to moving on. He further moving on graduated on his local American high school and further study on his college. While he was about to go to his college, his parents arrived with an unknown pair of old couple. It turns out it was Robert’s parents. Terry was devastated to see and still felt guilty about it. Robert’s parents were devastated too, but they knew it was an accident and telling Terry it was not his fault. Terry cried after hearing that and said he can’t play basketball after the incident. They encourage him to stop and move on and start playing basketball again, as this is for close friend and say that Terry should also thanking his late grandfather for teaching about him how to be a basketball player. Terry then started to feel motivated and feel better after that. He knew it was going to take time for him to recover and playing basketball back but he won’t give up. The young lizard then thanking the parents for support and encouragement that they gave him.

Soon Terry left his home and heading to college in the state of California, he started playing basketball again and his skills caught the eye of the Fur Bay State basketball team. They were impressed by the reptiles unique skills. Due to what he was taught by his grandfather in Bali, he has a different style compared to American players. During college, he’s again playing basketball every evening, usually alone as he gets used to playing again without his closest friend or his old teammates. He's able to help the team improve their record as he gets back into playing condition. His coach encouraged him to apply for the FBA Draft as soon he finishes his study. Terry was questionable at first, because he fear he might make the same mistake again. However, deep down, he knew he’s doing this for himself and his family and his lost friend. And make everyone proud of him. He also hopeful not to repeat the same mistake as he did after what happen to his friend.
