The 2013-2014 Bangor Tides season was the 3rd season of the franchise and the 8th in the Furry Basketball Association (FBA). The Tides were originally formed as the Bradford Bantams.

Summary

With big contracts being offered to superstars around the league, this season has shown that money can't buy a winning team. Former General Manager Chip Fury called it quits in the middle of December, just prior to the sale of the team to new owners. Thanks to neither Pittsburgh nor Albany able to buy a win in the last week of the season, the team squeaked into the post-season and promptly fell in six games to the Plymouth Taproots.

Playoffs

By virtue of their conference record, the team beat out the Albany Alphas and the Pittsburgh Keystones for the 8th playoff spot in the Eastern Conference despite finishing with identical 36-44 records. The Tides began their post-season on Friday May 30th against the top-seeded Plymouth Taproots.
