Biography
Vincent is a native of Drummondville, Quebec and the son of former Santa Cruz Clef Sebastian Pelletier, who played in the FBA in the late 70’s and 80’s. His father was loved for being an inspiration for avian players to pursuit careers in professional sport. After his career, Sebastian brought basketball to his community and even started a league for communities in Southern Quebec to play in. And that’s when his son Vincent got in. Thanks to his family’s heavy affiliation with basketball, Vincent fell in love with it when he was five. He was so inspired, the league, along with his father, made an exception for him to join the league early, below the age of 6 entry limit. As soon as he was on the court, he was something to look at. Throughout his early years, he rattled up to 30 points a game, shooting from anywhere possible, and having an incredible eye for accuracy. These traits stayed when he entered high school in Drummondville, and lead his team as a point guard to three championship games in a row, winning two of them. His reward was a scholarship to the Canadian Wildlife University of Montreal, a bilingual institute for a variety of furries in Quebec and across Canada. And Vincent took off almost immediately. He struggled through the first few games of the season, being placed on point and shooting guard at random. While he was familiar with being point guard, he did not do as well as he wanted to, his field goal average dropping. He caught himself when his coach put him on shooting guard. It was new to him at first, but then he started liking it more and more, making him more versatile with both positions. Scoring an average of 21 points per game, he became a starter halfway through his freshman year, and lead his team to the final 16 for the first time in history, but success was short as WUM lost by 20 points. Success would strike again, as Vincent lead his team to the quarter finals the year after, and winning a championship in his senior year. The championship games is what got him noticed for consideration into the FBA. Vincent, being a predatory owl, is a natural scorer. It doesn’t matter the distance, his sharp eyes allow him to be as accurate as possible, making him a great target for the needed points. But a good offense comes with a bad defense. Vincent never liked playing defense, but he has to hold a grudge every time he gets scored on, and always has the drive to get the points back. His blocking and rebounding is terrible, but he makes up for it with an above average stealing ability. Overall, if you need a sharp shooter, Vincent inherited his father’s traits and will surely make the Pelletier name proud.
