Michael Porter (mallard duck, born January 29, 1984) is an American professional basketball player for the Santa Ana Spectrums of the Furry Basketball Association (FBA).

Biography

One year before the institution of the one-flap rule, you could count every bird picked up in the first round on one wing. In 2006, Michael Porter was added to that list, starting a career of bucking FBA trends. A dominant "bigfeather" at an all-avian university, Porter has developed an accurate shot from the corners, pinpointing threes off his fingertips. With the addition of the one-flap, he continues to be a useful weapon down low, proving the unique contribution of avians to the league.

He surprised everyone when he won the 3-Point Shootout at the 2013 All-Star Game, after being voted 11th in the online poll and getting in the contest at the last second due to three players declining to compete. Beating the top-seeded reigning champion Lucas Dupre, as well as All-Star sharpshooters Sarah Lancaster and Oliver Vance, he made history by becoming the first player in FBA history to win the contest from the eighth seed.
