Biography
Lucian Darcy was born of Janet, Sabretooth tiger, and Tobias, Cave lion in the small town of Anchor Point, Alaska. His unusual colouration came as a bit of a surprise though due to his parents' normal colours. Despite his pale colour, Lucian was a healthy son. The combination of his parents' bloodlines had created a liger-like effect.
Lucian grew quickly and was full of childhood energy. He would run and hike in the frozen wilderness for hours. Swimming in the frigid waters and enjoying the rich salmon runs that would go through the local rivers. All his activity helped build up his body big and strong, even for his size. School first came as a bit of a challenge for Lucian. He did fairly well in his classes but teasing from other kids calling him a long tailed polar bear, resulting in a couple fights.
Lucian was never a bully but his large size and the fact he didn't know his growing strength did cause some issues; one resulting in breaking an arm of a fellow classmate while roughhousing with him. This and the result of pent up energy of being inside most of the day for school, it was decided to enroll Lucian in sports to help burn off excess energy. Football was first decided for him but as local teams were full, he was placed in basketball instead.
The running and movement suited Lucian fairly well. His size and strength soon made him a natural Center. The sport opened up new friends within the team and school as he grew larger and stronger. Lucian became a kind hearted child but during games he would go into "hunting mode" and would be a tough opponent to get past. This coupled with his great size earned him the name "Indomitable Darcy"
As he grew from grade school teams into high school, he went on to help his team to win many games and championships, many of which had been lost by the school for decades. He towered over most his teammates now at a whoe facility knew that Lucian had a chance to go on to play in college teams and popping 7 feet and built like a brick wall. His head coach and many members of thssibly the FBA. Lucian managed to earn several basketball scholarships to Black Tundra University. Though despite his scholarships it was soon discovered that he would not be able to attend as his family would not be able to afford to cover the rest of his tuitions.
During his senior year of high school the community came together and managed to raise the money for him to attend and send their local boy off to realize his dreams. Lucian's family were thrilled to be able to send off their only son to a better life. Lucian promised to make his family proud and bring fame and honor to his supportive community.
Thus began Lucian's time at Black Tundra. Lucian found the schoolwork challenging but the time on the court proved to be some of his most memorable. Now playing with teammates more on par with himself, the games were more intense and challenging for him. Lucian trained hard on the court as well in the school's weight room to make himself stronger and be able to perform better. During his first year he spent earning his place on his team and by his second year was playing in almost every game. Lucian loved every moment of it and would send clippings from the school paper on the team's performances, both wins and losses.
By his senior year he began to catch the eyes of FBA scouts that would visit the university. Those games were always tense and difficult as everyone was trying to make themselves noticed. Soon enough after a couple scouting matches, Lucian was approached to try for the FBA draft. After much loss for words and an emotional phone call to home later, Lucian accepted the scouts' offer to try for the FBA draft. With the FBA draft on the horizon for Lucian and the cusp of his lifelong dreams at hand; what lies in store for Lucian "Indomitable" Darcy. Only time will tell.
