Some have described your performance in the league as one of the big surprises of the 2019 draft class. We disagree. After having met you, it was clear that you were willing to put in the work and the hours required to become a true star in the league. You just needed the time.

It's the end of what would have been the rookie contract that you deserved. The league has recognized your work and your contributions. At this point, the choice is yours. We would like to see you back with the Arctics next season. If you decide that it's time to take the opportunities that your work has earned you and go elsewhere, we will respect your decision.
