Biography
Fredrick Francis Griswold, or just Freddy for short is a big bear, with an even bigger attitude. Born in Canada to a middle-upper class family as the oldest of three, Fredrick lived a comfortable life. This life however, made the bear entitled and a bully. Sure his academics were still holding strong, but his behavior worried his parents, especially after summer visits with his cousins in the states. In an effort to curb their cub's aggressive tendencies towards his peers, they had Freddy sign up for sports. At first, Fredrick was a stereotypical rebellious teen, refusing to participate- but then the bear would find two sports that he ended up enjoying: wrestling, football, and basketball.
Wrestling acted as a sort of balance in Freddy's life, training had the bear focus on other things besides tormenting others. Football he enjoyed as an offensive lineman, but juggling football amongst other things became demanding. Basketball however... lets just say that Freddy gets to reverts back to being himself. After all, he does have to prevent the opposing team from making the shots, y'know? His time as a lineman helps a small bit getting into that offensive mindset. Graduating high school, Freddy already knew that he wanted to go to Thunder Bay. What he didn't expect going in was playing guard dog to some yappy corgi with small dog syndrome. But he offered good pay to be his protection. Was easy given that they both played for the Apex. What he didn't know was that this corgi was going to bring them to the championships, and that said corgi was also going to drag him down a year later.
After being booted from the team, Fredrick developed a chip on his shoulder against the corgi. Fredrick contemplated declaring for the UFFL Draft as a sort of ""screw you"" to basketball entirely. But now... someone's gotta knock that dog down a peg, and that someone's about to be him one way or another.
