Biography
No one who would look at Frank's stats would be all that impressed by them. They were never any good to look at anyway but that’s not what Frank really cared for. All his life the one thing the tarantula loved to do was to make people uncomfortable. A sadist at heart he grew up avoiding being bullied by simply out-weirding the would-be assailants. One of his favorite games growing up and even into adulthood is to dress in drag and then get extremely affectionate to someone or other.
And to some degree that applies to his basketball game as well. His vision isn’t perfect and has some trouble seeing the net. As such his shooting was never impressive. Even when he would start a game he would very rarely score more than single digits. But his philosophy was that you didn’t need to get score many points to win a game, you just have to make sure that your counterpart scores less. If he only scored eight points in a game but managed to keep his counterpart to only seven or six then he still won his matchup, despite only scoring eight on a starter.
As such he has specialized himself quite heavily not so much on his ability to score but rather the ability to shut down his opponents. And the better he can do that, the more prone his opponent is to go on tilt. And there’s nothing that excites him more than to make his opponent go on tilt and is common to start laughing once he has done so. The down side of that is there really isn’t much to show for his effort, how good you are at making the other player miss their shots really isn’t something most places track and so he often goes overlooked. On top of that he even admits that he’s probably not the best choice for most games. But when there’s a game where the other team’s shooting guard needs shut down, those are the games he’s best for and the games he enjoys the most.
