Biography

Early Life

Growing up in the heart of Buffalo, the land of snow and chicken wings. Carly always had quite a yap on her, even by fennec standards. Loud, boisterous, headstrong and overconfident certainly fitting traits. Overconfidence that led to some...mixed outcomes in her escapades. Like when she was at a concert as a teenager and broke her leg in two places after and accidental drop while crowdsurfing.

Though even things like that never stopped her from what she wanted to chase. Things like music, growing a rather unique sound with a blending of classical instruments, rap, metal screaming and MIDI forming the group Neon Battallion, often filling whatever club or bar would book them eventually leading to a show at The Minstrel when she was eighteen.

Even that level of success didn't get her complacent however...she had other pursuits in mind as well. From as young as eight years old, Carly had a basketball in her little paws, dunking on her pink and purple plastic toy hoop to bringing a shovel to clean off her local park court and play in all her snow gear. Her love of the game certainly undeniable.

High School

As much as Buffalo's better known as a football destination, Carly gave people something to watch even as a growing kit. It wasn't hard to see her playing to a standing room only crowd.

While skilled, it was far from all fun and games. Carly had grown a rep for being quite the hothead which saw her mouthing off to hecklers and opposing players a lot, most well known as a freshman getting into a shouting match over a dirty foul. Nobody quite knows how she walked away with just a technical that game.

All the screaming and fighting aside, Carly showed she had some real talent. Lively and a keen eye for the basket, she became well known for her smooth handles on the ball and finishes that dazzled crowds and left defenders guessing. Could she put up a show? No doubt about that.

College

Carly seemed like an ideal recruit for a school with glamour and bright lights, perhaps the likes of UFLA or FUSC...but Carly said she wanted to be where she could make a difference, a place where she could leave an undeniable mark. This would bring Carly to the Music City as she donned the gold of the Vanderbarn Admirals. A collegiate team that only recently began to make noise in the college ball scene.

She became one of the vital pillars in that team, getting the okay to be an artist with the ball and it's handling, cleaning up her mid range shot a lot and when defenses would swarm her she had quite the variety of teammates to get the ball to.

From the wonderful Brandy Johannsen down low, Kid Cunningham around the perimeter or Zylo Graves making a thundering drive down the lane, her lone season taught her a lot about being on a team and making everyone, including herself better. Efforts that would lead to her driving Vandy to it's first ever FCAA title and absolutely smoking the College Classic after telling the media to "Bet on us".

As she announced her intent to head into the draft, Carly finished that presser with her trademark saying "I talk big...but my game talks bigger!"
