Biography/Early Years (2006-2014)
Damon Wesker was born in Sydney, Australia, on September 19th, 2006. He was the youngest cub of his two siblings, of whom the middle child, ""Jane Wesker,"" was 8 years older than him. During his two years living in Australia, they had to move to the beautiful island of New Zealand because their parents had gotten an offer as pallet workers. During his time in New Zealand after his parents had to work, he was mostly raised and lived with his grandparents on his mother's side of the family, who also live in New Zealand as well. He had a great childhood by playing with his siblings and his friends down the block during the weekend or learning how to bake with his grandmother when he was hungry.
When Damon turned 8 years old, his dad gave him a basketball and a hoop as his birthday present because he wanted him to get into some sports activities, even though Damon wasn't into sports and was more into playing video games, watching his favorite cartoon show, or playing with his Legos. He didn't touch a basketball until one of his friends said he wanted to play with it because he was an FBA fan, and mostly a Dakota Bikers fan because of Ryan Malone, one of the most complete players in the FBA. Once his friend played, all of the others did, and since he didn't want to be the odd one out, he joined them. The second he got the ball in his hands, it felt right—like it belonged there, and that’s where Damon found his love for the game.
High-School & College Years (2020-2025)
During his 4 years of playing basketball, Damon was the most hardworking player on his team. When his coach told him, ""You might be the worst freshman player I have ever coached,"" Damon never gave up his dream because all he wanted in life was to become an FBA player. He trained like crazy while all others around him told him it was impossible. In his junior year at age 16, he was a monster, finishing at the rim with his high-flying dunks. All his teammates at the bench were going ballistic, and even he was as well because he didn't know he had that in him, and he led his Bandfort North High to an undefeated regular season record. But in the NZ basketball tournament semifinals, by his own admission, Damon choked, and their season was over, with team scoring 76 while the other team, 96 points. But next year, Damon came back with a vengeance. As a senior, he dragged his team to the finals and won them the NZ basketball tournament scoring 40 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assist, 2 steals, and 5 blocks in that finals run.
After he won their first title in their school's history, he was still not getting offers from colleges because they didn't know who he was because New Zealand barely had any talent for basketball. But one college did keep an eye on him; Red River Tech University gave him a scholarship, and he had to move out to America, saying farewell to his family. During his first year in college, he had a slow start because he wasn't used to playing a role as being a backup for his small forward player, who was their best player on the team. And during the middle of the season, their best player got hurt, and Damon had to be their man to carry the load. As he played at the starting rotation, he did not disappoint them, he was a huge help for helping his team, and when he's getting a bad day on the court, his teammates would help him as well. He average a whopping 17.6 Points with a 51% Field Goal and 34% 3-Pointer, 5.7 Rebounds, 2.9 Assists, 1.8 Steals, and 2.7 Blocks a game. They advance to the March Tournament, but sadly they lost in the first round, even though he scored over 34 points in that match trying to win, it still wasn't enough for his team.
Damon called his college career over and now declared for the 2025 FBA draft and hoped that one day, some team would pick him up, and if they did, he would not disappoint them.
