Biography
Shondrea was adopted by James and Amber Pearce at the age of 2 and has never met her birth parents. A gazelle raised by leopards, she is used to standing out and being singled out, usually for ridicule. She decided early on that if furs were going to be watching her, she may as well give them a show. She started with dancing and singing and when those didn’t satisfy her anymore, she turned to sports. James was the assistant baseball coach at her high school, so that was the sport she chose. Disappointed with fan turnout, however, she asked which sport drew the biggest crowds. The answer was football, but the 10 year old didn’t like the idea of being a target so she picked the next most popular sport; basketball.
She immediately shunned the fundamental aspects of the game in favor of a flashy acrobatic style that got the biggest reactions from the crowd. As she got older and more athletic and agile, she focused on dribble moves and creative dunks to really get the crowd on their feet. While her play got crowds on her side and won her many individual accolades, her teams never did much winning in middle or high school. She was happy being the lone bright spot on those teams and it was no surprise when the scholarship offers came in. Tired of her small predator town, she chose the school in the biggest city she could: FuSC.
While helping lead her team to the Final Four, she learned to get comfortable sharing the spotlight and after the tournament was over she decided it was time for a bigger stage. The FBA.
